This course is designed to take an in-depth look at the lessons that have been learned and the lessons yet to be learned in the aftermath of Hurricanes Helene and Milton. Assignments will include the after-action reports associated with those hurricanes. The course will also take a close look at a wide array of accompanying issues and concerns relevant to emergency management posed by this unusual sequence of natural disasters that included an unprecedented number of tornadoes that accompanied Hurricane Milton.
