Full course description
The United Against Hate presentation will explain federal hate crimes statutes and provide community members with knowledge of the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s role in investigating hate crimes. Additionally, the United Against Hate program brings together key stakeholders to acknowledge the fact that criminal prosecutions alone will not fully address all hate-based misconduct. To that end, the Department of Justice is bringing together community groups, community leaders, and law enforcement at every level. The goals of the presentation include working to build trust and strengthen coordination to combat unlawful acts of hate.
