The drug overdose crisis is a clear and present public safety, public health, and national security threat. This presentation involves information concerning federal criminal law regarding drug possession and distribution as well as information about the dangers of fentanyl and drug use. The presenters represent cooperative efforts between the United States Attorney’s Office for the Middle District of Alabama and the Drug Enforcement Administration to combat dangers associated with knowing and unknowing use of fentanyl.
