Disaster preparedness for Healthcare Professional Part I is an overview of response, recovery, mitigation strategies, and communication. It will also examine the Incident Command System, the Triage Protocols available, and the role of the healthcare professional in administration and implementation before, during, and after a disaster scenario. Finally, infrastructural and facility needs will be examined as well.
