Full course description
The topics that will be addressed in this course include the following:
1.Identifying budgetary challenges of building an emergency management program , focusing on strategies when emergency preparedness may not be the stated funding priority.
2. Creating specific job descriptions for Emergency Management Employees.
3.Examining complex working relationships between local, state and federal agencies.
4. Developing good working inter-agency and regional relationships and agreements prior to a disaster or large scale emergency.
5. Identifying and developing external stakeholders and non-profit organizations to establish good working relationships and partnerships to aid in recovery processes following a disaster.
