Culture Bump Module 3: Communication

In this stand alone module, you will look specifically at communication behaviors. In this module, you will learn much more about a specific category of culture bumps - culture bumps which are caused by a difference in communication cues and styles across cultures. You will first take a deeper look at the nature of communication - at the three ways that all human beings communicate with one another. Then you will examine seven different styles of communication and how they can create culture bumps that lead to a failure to communicate.

The course will run more smoothly in Firefox or Chrome. You may experience some issues running it through Explorer or Edge.
